Wine and more

Wine culture in Moscow goes beyond restaurants and carries away more and more modern and active people.

At the beginning of November the known wine trading company Simple has opened in the center of Moscow on Neglinnaya Ulitsa their new project SimpleWine & Bar.

Offering a warm friendly atmosphere, large selection of international wines and delicious food, SimpleWine & Bar is the perfect place to unwind after work or enjoy a tasty lunch or dinner with friends.

The wine list (700 labels) ranges from deliciously undervalued wines by the glass to hard-to-find gems from the worlds leading winemakers.

It is possible to order the majority of wines on glasses (from 290 rub).

The food of well-known Adrian Santiago Quetglas who is acting as barnd chief and Pavel Annenkov (Grand Cru) is superb: top-notch ingredients, unfussily cooked and beautifully plated. For instance Beef cheek with almond foam and ragout from root crops (850rub.), grilled squid with sweet potato cream (450rub.) and of course there is a wide choice of classical wine snacks – Olives (150rub.), artichokes (300rub.), dried tomatoes (150rub.) and Parma (350rub.).

SimpleWine & Bar is probably becoming one of the most popular haunts in Moscow.

But whether that’s because of the venue, the fabulous food on offer or the impressive wine list, we don’t know.

So, why not come and visit and decide for yourself?
