A Moscow cocktail institution
This underground cocktail bar is real good and one of the best in Moscow!
It's actually an institution!
They're downstairs from a Chinese noodle shop called Lucky Noodles on Petrovka Ulitsa.
It doesn’t look like much, but behind a curtain and down a staircase, a brick vaulted ceiling, called Mendeleev Bar reveals itself.
At Mendeleev, the presentation of a cocktail is just as dramatic as the cocktail itself.
The bar is no longer a bar.
It’s a stage, a chemistry lab and a theatre!
Each glass is carefully selected for each cocktail and into it, is poured a beautiful, jewel-colored liquid.
This is much more than a cocktail bar – this is a cocktail show!
Mendeleev bar’s author cocktail menu is from the famous russian mixologist Roman Milosteviy.
Hungry and fancy something to nibble?
The bar menu is accompanied by light and tasty Pan-Asian dishes from Mom, the chef from next door restaurant Roni.
Please note: At Mendeleev there is no bouncer, but Face-control!
