The salt guide

Today I'd like to introduce you the wide range of flavored salts from around the world.

Salt is the most important ingredient in cooking.

Without salt, most dishes would taste boring and bland.

Himalayan Pink Salt

This salt is pure, hand-mined salt found naturally deep inside the pristine Himalayan Mountains.

The high mineral crystals range in colour from sheer white to varying shades of pink to deep reds which indicates a beneficial amount of 85 trace elements and iron. The clean crystals are Gourmet Food Grade and the highest quality Himalayan salt available.

Kala Namak Indian Black Salt

Kala Namak is also known as Indian Black Salt. It has an unforgettable smell, similar to yolks. It is used extensively in Indian cuisine. This salt has become popular with vegan chefs for adding natural egg flavor to their dishes.

Bolivian Rose SaltThis salt is hand harvested from the Andes Mountain range in Bolivia. Ancient sea salt deposits were covered with volcanic lava creating this high minreal salt and protecting it from pollution. The light rose and orange colour of Bolivian rose makes it beautiful when presented in a clear salt shaker.

Trapani Sea Salt

This salt is handcrafted from traditional salt pans along the famous Salt Road in Sicily. The crystals are the first to bloom on the surface of the salt ponds and retain valuable nutrients which add delicate falor to the salt. Sea salt is best used as a finishing salt for gourmet dishes

Hawa Kai Hawaiian Sea Salt

This salt has an great black colour and silky texture. Solar evaporated Pacific sea salt is combined with activated charcoal. This compliments the natural salt flavor and adds numerous health benefits to the salt.

Peruvian Pink Salt

This salt comes from a natural spring located over 3000 meter high in the mountains in Peru.

The warm spring water drips into terraced salt ponds. Peruvian pink salt has been hand-harvested for over 2.000 years. The crystals have a high moisture content and light pink colour.

This salt has a strong flavor and is a great seasoning salt.
