What are superfoods and why are they good for you?

I'm sure you’ve heard in the last few years very often about the nutritional benefits of these everyday ingredients, commonly labeled as “SUPERFOODS.”

Superfoods are foods with features that make them very different from conventional foods.

A superfood is only a really effective superfood, when it's regularly integrated with fairly large quantities into the menu.

It is also generally accepted that superfoods contains high levels of much-needed vitamins and minerals and they can be a source of antioxidants, substances that shield our bodies from cell damage and help prevent diseases.

Another nice effect, eating enough berries is also good for your hair and skin.

Chia Seeds

A real powerfood!

They grows natively in South America and are considered as one of the healthiest foods in the world!

Chia Seeds deliver a enormous amount of nutrients with very few calories.

Due to the high fiber and protein content, Chia won‘t make you gain weight very easily and it can also reduce cravings.


This tropical superfood is loaded with many powerful fatty acids that give it a unique taste and an abundance of health enhancing benefits.

The coconut is high in fat but is a healthy fat.

It‘s been proven that not eating enough fat can make you fat!

For example coconut flour is gluten and wheat free and can be added to your baked goods as a substitute for other flours.
